Markus Stutz

Markus Stutz is a Senior Engineer with the International & Environmental Technology Group, Motorola Advanced Technology Center-Europe, Motorola Labs. He leads the Environmental Technology Group at MATC-Europe since 2000, where he works since 1998. His work covers topics such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Design for Environment (DfE), Environmentally Preferred Products (EPP), and Sustainability. He has championed Motorola's LCA activities in close cooperation with customers like DaimlerChrysler and Swisscom and with many internal businesses. He also manages government funded and university projects. Markus has an MSc degree in Environmental Sciences from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland. During his studies he has worked for Philips and the EXACT Working Group Environment on environmental assessment of electronic components.
